The Meaning Behind Lumela

The name Lumela is a tribute to a legacy of craftsmanship and love. It is dedicated to my grandmother, Melahat, a professional tailor whose creative spirit inspired this journey. "Lu" stems from the Latin root for light, and "Mela"carries the soul of her name. Lumela is the "Light of Melahat"—reflecting the meticulous care and inner glow she shared with the world.
